Hull News & Pictures is a UK press agency covering Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. It was formed in 1996. We provide images and stories to the regional and national media. As freelance photographers and reporters we specialise in news, features, sport and public relations. The Sunday Times one day, the Sun the next. We really don't mind. Our two principal photographers, Sean Spencer and Les Gibbon, also take pictures for many businesses and organisations including Kingston Communications, npower, The University of Hull, CPP, City of York Council, The Co-operative Group and Yorkshire Housing. We are both trained in photo-journalism by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) and we are both former staff photographers at the Hull Daily Mail where we still have close links. The main areas we cover include Hull, Beverley, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, York, Leeds, Scarborough and Goole. But we're quite prepared to travel anywhere in the UK if required.
